Development report 2024
GENDERLOCK
As in previous years, I have also written a report on the current state of development in this one. As usual, I would like to first give an overview and then go into detail about the individual topics.
At the beginning of the year, things were still very quiet around the Genderlock hobby project. However, that changed over time and so around the middle of the year I decided to do the whole thing more professionally and register a business. The crowdfunding campaign three years ago wasn't that successful and so I had to save up the necessary starting capital myself. In addition to developing new products, I will now also deal with the hurdles of being self-employed.
Especially towards the end of the year, I invested more of my free time in development and was able to further develop some exciting products. In the future, I no longer want to limit myself to chastity belts, although these will still be an integral part of the product range. Finally, the Model A and probably the most anticipated Model D are scheduled to appear in 2025.
I would now like to go into detail about some, but not all, product developments from 2024:

DEVELOPMENT REPORT
Chastity Cage Model E
Some of you will probably ask yourself why I first concentrated completely on the development of Model E?

Model E was initially the easiest to realize in terms of complexity and I didn't want to overextend myself right from the start with my limited options. In addition, It was important to me that my first product was not just a modified copy of something that already existed. I wanted to take a completely new approach right from the start. At least, I had never seen a chastity cage with the penis pointing upwards and the lock on the bottom.
A large part of the development had already been completed and can also be read in the 2023 development report. Only the details remained to be optimized.
First of all, ventilation.
It has been shown that you quickly start to sweat despite large, but isolated, ventilation openings. Which subsequently leads to unpleasant itching. So as a solution, I perforated the entire surface with several smaller openings. In addition, the bridge and ring, which had previously been solidly constructed, were made hollow and also opened with numerous holes. This ensures a more pleasant climate even when worn for longer periods of time. These ventilation findings were also directly applied to the development of the Model A.
Another point of improvement was the shutter.
I wanted a mechanism that would allow locking without having to use a lock. Practically a latch that engages with spring force and can then optionally be secured with a lock or seal. After numerous attempts, I managed to accommodate this on a small scale on the underside.
The bridge ensures the safety of the chastity cage.
It narrows the opening so it is no longer possible to pull out the penis. At the same time, an opening that is too narrow can also lead to injuries. Because everyone finds something different to be pleasant, I have developed a second, slightly larger bridge that is included with the KG. As an additional feature, both bridges have an opening for an M6 screw on their front. This should make it possible to screw on a dildo if required.

In addition to the actual product development, a few other tasks had to be completed before sales could begin.
First of all, a website where you can find out more about how the KG works.
Afterwards, an online shop had to be set up that also enabled payment via PayPal or credit card.
When a new product is released, I always want to show a short trailer on YouTube to get you in the mood for the release and explain the functions.
Next comes the selection of the packaging. It also gets an attractive design and so that nothing flies around, a shelf keeps everything in its place. Cut by hand until the right shape is found.
And finally, instructions for use and safety instructions are written and the corresponding instruction pictures are illustrated.

Strap-In
I came up with the idea for a Strap-In because I couldn't find anything like it yet.
The Strap-In was a relatively quick development compared to the chastity belts. It only took a single prototype to get to the series model.
The first prototype was still a hard plastic part, but since the front part also functions as a penis ring, it was not that easy to take off once you had put it on. To avoid further incidents, I decided to make the front part elastic from silicone. The back part, on the other hand, is made entirely from a plastic similar to ABS due to its small design. However, for comfort it was not necessary to use silicone here. The side straps are made of a Biothane material, which makes them robust and easy to clean. In addition, the size can be adjusted individually and any protruding straps can also be shortened with scissors.

Chastity Cage Model A
Most recently, I reported on model A in my 2022 report. In 2024, I have now resumed work and further improved the model.
I was able to test the 7th prototype over a long period of time and a few things have become apparent that still need to be improved.
For the eighth model, I changed the lock back to a padlock. The locking bolt on the previous model had some advantages in terms of positioning and aesthetics, but the locking bolt became increasingly stiff over time and there was no longer any possibility of using seals.
Another major innovation was the ability to customise. Up to now I had always tailored the KG to my own anatomical circumstances, but for a sales model it is absolutely necessary to ensure a certain degree of customization. The new prototype uses adjustment rings with which the diameter of the chastity clamp can be adjusted. Five different sizes are currently planned, which will be included in each pack.
The ninth prototype again focused on the topic of ventilation. I designed a new ventilation grille for the entire front, which at the same time remains very stable.
It has also been shown that although the chastity cage is very flat, it can still protrude slightly from the body in the event of an erection. This can be counteracted with well-fitting underwear, but I still want to offer the option of always wearing the chastity cage close to the body with optional attachable straps. These straps are not part of the actual chastity belt, as with model D, but are only there to make it comfortable to wear.
The improvements in the tenth and current prototypes are more in the details. The individual components were adapted to each other so that the parts cannot wobble or rub against each other. The stability has also been further improved.

On the agenda for 2025, in addition to the completion of Models A and D, there are also a few unannounced small products that satisfy various fetishes.

It is still open and depends on further success; whether Genderlock remains a leisure project or becomes something more.
